ANNOUNCEMENT: Board Picture Awards ’24-’25 – Submissions

We are now open to submissions for the annual Board Picture Awards! For the uninitiated: every year, the Groninger Studentenkrant compiles a list of board pictures from different student associations in the city. Our writers then carefully evaluate each picture, providing them with comments that consist of both praise and criticism. Afterwards, we rank every picture and publish the results right here.

For years now, the Awards have been a cornerstone of SK and a huge success, with a record-breaking 99 associations taking part in last year’s edition. We are therefore very much looking forward to everyone’s participation this year! Will your picture be able to beat the tough competition? How cool would it be to land in the top 10? There’s only one way to find out: send us your board picture!

All submissions must be sent in through the Google Form we sent out via email. (Be sure to check all your different email addresses!). Please mention on behalf of which association you are participating and what your association is for, as well as what the full name of the photographer is. The form will be open for submissions until November 22nd. 

If your board has yet to take a picture, please let us know via email (hoofdredactie@studentenkrant.org) and, depending on the time needed, we may be able to give you an extension. Did you not receive the Google Form? Send us an email and we will add you to the mailing list right away!
