An introduction: David Jan

My name is David Jan, your future favorite columnist on this platform. As a collegial sage, I will brighten up each Hump Day (for the special ones under us, it’s Wednesday) with a, hopefully, sharp column on actuality. At least, that was the plan. Nowadays we live in times of corona, and we need to adapt our student life to the new circumstances. Therefore I will take you along on my quest for the ultimate six-foot student life. 

What do I do in my daily life? I study law. Well, that’s what I’m supposed to be doing. But thanks to a grand and compelling student life, the word “nominal” is no longer part of my dictionary. Next to that, I’m active in plenty of organizations. For example, I used to be a board member of ESN Groningen. Furthermore, I am the president of student party The Independent Student, and I advise student organizations and associations on their privacy policy.
